Get your kleenex out...

God has an 'oh so obvious' way of showing us his mercy and grace. His plans for us and our future. Plans to prosper us and give us hope. Waking up in the morning should be a reason enough for us to sing praise for another sunrise seen when pushing open the curtains, give thanks for a safe place to call home, look at our spouse and pray for them, and throughout our day focus on the king of all glory. Why do we forget? How come it seems to not fit into our agenda? This little guy on the video showed so many people love without even speaking. He had 99 days. What about you?

Napa Easter Trip

Jer's brother Jesse, his wife Kari, and little baby girl Sabelli came up for a visit for Easter. We stayed at an AWESOME bed and breakfast in St. Helena, ate a ton of pizza, drank really good wine, rode a scary gondola, visited Castillo De Amarosa again (where Bedtime Stories was filmed) and once again had the best of the best Fantasia wine! It was a great trip, and we enjoyed spending time with family!! Here is a mish-mash of pictures from the trip. There's one where Jer has Sabelli zipped up in his jacket after she fell asleep at the restaurant. SO CUTE.

Watoto photos ;)

The performance pictures were taken by our church photographer. Amazing huh? Then at our house Uncle Steve, Edward, and Moses jammed with us in our kitchen. They stayed two nights in our home, and I miss the giggles. ;) I loved hearing them laugh.

Please take the time to watch these 3 videos. (about 25 minutes).

Why kids are awesome

The other day in class one of my little ballerinas was talking about a 'date' her and her daddy went on, and that she couldn't wait to hang out with her mom too. It was so cute and I had to tell her that my mom and I were going to do some shopping after class (or something like that). The little one looked up at me with her mouth wide open and said, "Miss Jekasuh your mom is still alive??". It aged me but boy did it make my mom seem ancient. ;)

Then tonight I subbed for another teacher and found myself explaining why I even exist. They were so confused as to why I looked nothing like Miss Kim and wondering where I put her. I love kids. ;)

Best Study EVER

Our bible study is going through Esther right now. With the guidance of Beth Moore's study book "It's Tough Being a Woman" which is amazing!! I've read Esther many times, and have watched One Night With The King as well. Yet I still get emotional over her story, and I cannot wait to learn more next week. To all the women I love...(and especially to one special gal I hope still reads my blogs) we don't understand the 'when' and the 'why' of God sometimes, but know that His plans are not to harm you but to give you hope and a future. Stay focused on Him alone, and you can move any mountain.
